Two Turkeys

Hello and welcome. It's been a week since my last post but that doesn't mean I haven't been making cards. I just didn't have time to post.

The first card (that didn't get in the scanner very straight) "Woohoo! The farmer invited me over for dinner." is for our son & d-i-l. Inside I wrote 'Tommy wasn't the brightest turkey in the rafter'. Background paper was run through the Leaves ef from The Paper Studio, circle is Spellbinders Classic Circles. Both turkey images are from online coloring pages, colored with Copic's The second card is for our granddaughter and her fiancĂ©. Inside sentiment on that one is "oh hell no I am out of here". Sentiments were found on Pinterest. Good  thing no one expects anything other than a snarky card from me. ;)

There's only 2 more days till our daughter, s-i-l & 18 year old grandson will get here for Thanksgiving. YAY! Our granddaughter won't be with them this year. She's all grown up a spending the holiday with her boyfriend and family. Looks like time for me to learn to share. lol

Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon. Comments are greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

Teddy Turkey

Hello and welcome. I hope you've had a good weekend and are staying warm.

Todays card is for our 1 1/2 year old great-grandson. Teddy bear turkey is from the Silhouette Cameo. After cutting the feathers I ran them through the Vine Street ef, background was run through the Birch Tree ef. Sentiment was printed on the computer then punched with the Word Window punch and mounted on the Modern Label punch. I thought about making the turkey wobble and adding googly eyes but then thought a little toddler might try to pull it off.

Thanksgiving Circle

Hello and welcome. Today is a beautiful fall day here in the desert so I enjoyed a very nice walk this morning.

Todays card is for our 13 year old great-grandson. Teenage boy cards have never been easy for me. Actually no masculine cards are easy for me. Circle is from the Silhouette Cameo, leaves are from an old hand punch. The most tedious part of this card was adhering each of the tiny letters. I'm not crazy about it but I think it's o.k.

Racoon Pilgrim

Hello and welcome. Can you believe it's only 2 weeks till Thanksgiving??

Todays card is for our 9 year old great-grandson. Racoon, wheelbarrow and sentiment are from Gina K's Friends Till The End stamp set colored with Copic's. Hat is from the Silhouette Cameo. It doesn't show very well but I stamped a background using a very old  rubber leaf stamp with VersaMark stamp pad. I fussy cut the racoon and wheelbarrow instead of using the dies because I wanted a closer cut. Images are all cut with 2 layers of cs and popped up.

Thanksgiving In Hawaii

Hello and welcome.  Already a few days into November so I better get going on Thanksgiving cards.

My first Thanksgiving card for this year is for our granddaughter who will be spending the holiday in Hawaii with her boyfriend and some of his family members. I'll miss having them here but guess I need to learn to share. The background, sentiment (Happy Thanksgiving in Hawaiian) and turkey were all found on Google. Turkey was fussy cut and popped up. Since I wanted to personalize it I Googled the Hawaiian translation of their names. Below is a peek at the inside
