JP's Fiirst Halloween

Hello and welcome. I hope you had a good weekend.

Todays card is for my dear old sister to send to her great-grandson, Jon-Paul, aka JP. Background paper is a piece from my Halloween stash; scarecrow image and jack-0-lanterns are from an online coloring page; hay bale image was found on Google. I masked the scarecrow before stamping the background leaves. All coloring was done with Copic's and I added Stickles to "light up" the jack-o-lanterns. Sentiment was printed on the computer, punched with Stampin Up's Modern Label punch, and backed with Stampin Up's Movers and Shapers die. Jack-0-lanterns are fussy cut. The most challenging part of the card was masking the scarecrow so I could make it look like he was sitting on the hay bale.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon. Comments are greatly appreciated. Have a great day.

Take Care!
Gerry

  1. Such a sweet "first Halloween"card. Quite a keepsake, very clever to put his name on it. Great layout and colors.

  3. You did an awesome job with the masking as he does look like he is perched right upon that bale of hay....cool! Great card, he'll be so happy when he sees it!
