Birthday Butterfly

Hello and welcome.

Todays card is for our granddaughter's 23rd birthday. The card shape is from the Silhouette, pearls from my stash, papers are SU. It doesn't show but I added some Clear Wink Of Stella around the edge of the pp. Inside sentiment was printed on the computer, butterfly stamp is from SU's Butterfly Basics stamp set. In the photo it looks kind of blah but in real life it looks much better. In fact, hubby thought it was very pretty, she will love it.

People Person

Hello and welcome.

Todays card is for my niece. She keeps saying she doesn't like going out much because it's too people-y out there. Inside sentiment is just Happy Birthday and her name. Images were both found in online clip art. Because my niece still smokes I chose this lovely lady with a cigarette in her hand,

I'm starting to count the days till my second cataract surgery so hopefully I will see clearly enough to stamp and color. Computer cards are fun but not quite the same.

Fitness Tracker

Hello and welcome. Glad you could join me today.

Todays card is the 'chuckle of the month' for my dear old sister. I found the image somewhere online and the whole sentiment "It isn't a normal fitness tracker. This calculates how many glasses of wine you've earned." was on the front so I kind of altered the whole thing. Wine glass images were also found online. Dear old sister wants one those fitness trackers. lol

Rose And Lace

Hello and welcome. Wow, it's been a while since my last post.

Todays card is for the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges to use lace. I also wanted to enter it in CCEE challenge to use a Rose but I missed the deadline. I normally don't do challenges but thought I should give it a try.
When I saw this hexagon shape doily on Silhouette, I thought ah ha hexagon shaped card. Doily and card base are from the Silhouette, rose is from an online coloring page. Thank goodness the rose image was big enough without a lot of detail for me to color (with my blurry vision and all). I used Copic Markers for coloring.

Swirly Scribbles

Hello and welcome. During this unsettling time we really need to find a distraction and for me it's cardmaking.

I don't know what or who this card will be for. I started it last week before I went to the hospital, thank goodness the surgery went well and I was able to finish it today. I just wanted to do something with some texture to it. Die cuts are Swirly Scribbles Thinlits from SU. After cutting I ran them through The Paper Studios Polka Dots ef. Background was run through a stripes ef (sorry I don't know who's). Just to be a little different I added the center of the large die.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon. Comments are greatly appreciated. Have a great day and stay save & healthy.
