Santa's Sleigh

Hello and welcome. I hope your week is going well.

Today I'm showing my second design for this years Christmas cards. You can see the first design here. Background is embossed with a snowflake ef from the Paper Studio; solid sleigh, snowflakes and Modern Label punch are cut from red foil paper; top layer of sleigh is cut from silver glitter paper; sleigh is from Stampin Up's Santa's Sleigh Framelit's. Sentiment, Teeny Tiny Wishes, is embossed and punched with the Word Window punch. I made 12 of this design. Now I can get on to making the fun "special" cards for grandkids & great-grandkids.

Santa's Watching

Hello and welcome. After a wonderful Thanksgiving with our daughter and her family it's time to focus on Christmas. The house is decorated so now it's play time in my craft room.

For this card I used the Stampin Up Detailed Santa Thinlits die; heat embossed sentiment is from Four The Holidays stamp set (Stampin UP). This was an easy card to "mass" produce so I made 20 of them.

Stocking Invitation

Hello, Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so excited today because our daughter and her family will be here tonight to spend Thanksgiving with us. Even though our 16 & 18 year old grandkids tower over me I still think of them as my 'grandbabies'.

Today I'm showing you the invitation I came up with for hubby dear's poker group. They usually play at one of the club houses, but just before Christmas, we have them at the house for a little Christmas cheer and light supper, then they play here.
The stocking is from the Silhouette Cameo. The "cuff" was run through a snowflake ef; snowflakes are from a EK mini punch with clear Wink of Stella added; holly leaves are also a mini EK punch, berries are red Stickles. The invite is printed on the insert that's very easy to pull out. Candy canes are clip art. The invitation had to be triple folded so it would fit inside.

With Deepest Sympathy

Hello and welcome. After two long weeks I finally feel good enough to spend time in my craft room. Thank you for your well wishes.

Unfortunately I was in need of a sympathy card this week after the passing of hubby's 99 year old aunt.
Heat embossed sentiment is an old rubber stamp I've had since I first starting stamping (early 90's). I separated the two portions with a narrow strip of ribbon; bottom portion is embossed with the Leafy Branch ef from Cuttlebug; Flourish Thinlits dies are cut from black glitter paper.

November Birthday

Hello and welcome. It's been a slow process getting over my bout with colitis but I think I'm finally making progress.

Todays card is for my S-I-L. The hexagon shaped card and sentiment are from the Silhouette Cameo; leaves are a multiple leaf die from Dies-R-Us. Sentiment and leaves have clear Wink Of Stella on them. Cardstock is Stampin Up, background paper is the Paper Studio. This was very quick & easy which is about all I can handle right now.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back soon. Hopefully I'll get something done to post in the next few days. Comments are greatly appreciated. Have a great day.
