Speedy Recovery

Hello and welcome. How was your weekend? My weekend started out Friday night with a wine & dark chocolate "girls" night....what could be better???

A friend (and fellow card maker) will be having surgery this week so I had to switch gears from making Valentine's. Papers, flower die and label punch are all from Stampin Up. The Stitched Edge die is Di-namics. Sentiment was printed on the computer and is popped up. Flower, leaves and sentiment label have clear Wink Of Stella on them. I wish the sparkle showed in the photo.

Rocking Heart

Hello and welcome. I don't know about you, but for me this week has gone by way too fast.

Todays card is for our granddaughter who likes cards with different folds. The rocking card shape is from the Silhouette Cameo. The cut file actually has circles for the center but since this is for Valentine's I decided hearts would be better. White cardstock was run the Close To My Heart ef from Cuttlebug. After coloring some of the embossed hearts I added clear Wink Of Stella. Cupid is also from the Silhouette. This card stands up very nicely.

Cupid's Here

Hello and welcome. I hope you have been having a good week.

Todays card is for one of our granddaughters'. Papers are Stampin Up; center heart is the Framelits Hearts Collection; Cupid and hearts border are from the Silhouette Cameo. Cupid was cut twice from cardstock for a little more stability and then popped up. If you're familiar with my cards you know how much I like using somewhat snarky sentiments. The granddaughter receiving this card is disappointed if I'm not a little snarky, so here's the sentiment  "Saint Valentine was eventually imprisoned, beaten, stoned, and beheaded. Hallmark doesn't tell you that."

First Anniversary

Hello and welcome. If you happen to be in a part of the country that's getting all the ice and snow, I hope you are keeping safe.

Todays card was put together very quickly because when I text my niece to ask when their anniversary was,  she said tomorrow, I said oops, your card's going to be a little late. Sentiment was printed on the computer; black cardstock strips were cut on my Fiskar's paper cutter; heart is from Tim Holtz Scribbles & Splats die set. Once I started putting it together I remembered I had made there wedding card in the same colors....so, I decided to start a "tradition" for them of always making their anniversary cards with black, white & red.

Valentine Bear

Hello and welcome. Here we are in the middle of January already....how can that be???

Todays card is for our 7 year old great-grandson. It's been years since I've made a shaker card so I told myself  'self, it's time to make a shaker card'. Teddy bear image is from an online coloring page. Papers are Stampin Up; frame is Framelits Hearts dies; corner hearts are a small EK punch. I glued 3 small glitter hearts around the bear then added sequins from my stash. I hope Ryan will like it.
