Ladybug Wishes

Hello and welcome. It's been a while since my last post because I've been cleaning my craft room. What a job!! and I'm not done yet.

Todays card is for our D-I-L. Ladybugs have a very special meaning to her so when I saw this on Pinterest I went to Stampin Owls Blog here. To get the wings to spread out I put a small brad in the top corner of each side. Circles are all from Spellbinders Classic Circle dies. spots are from a hand punch. Sentiment was printed on the computer, inside ladybugs are from a very old runner stamp colored with Recollections markers.

Pink and Gray

Hello and welcome.

Todays card is for our recently hired cleaning lady. Since she'll be here on Valentines Day I thought I'd make her a card. Gray layer was run through a Cuttlebug Hearts ef. Focal heart is Sweet & Sassy Framelits from SU, heart border is a Martha Stewart punch. Again the card got in the scanner not quite straight but the focal heart was purposely twisted and popped up. Sentiment was printed on the computer.

Shoulder To Cry On

Hello and welcome.

Time again for dear old sister's chuckle of the month. Sentiment "If you need a shoulder to cry, pull off to the side of the road." I think was found on Pinterest. I Googled girlfriend cartoon images and found this one. I added the words to the word bubble. After printing off the picture I softened the background using a cotton ball and Bashful Blue stamp pad. To curve the top I used a Spellbinders oval die.

Dead Roses

Hello and welcome.

Todays card is for our favorite server who has a strange sense of humor. When I saw this sentiment "The roses were red now they're dead, I need Valentines Day like a whole in the head." she immediately came to mind. I Googled dead roses images for the focal point, frame is from the Silhouette, corner roses are from an online coloring page colored with Prismacolor pencils. When I placed the white mat on the red card base it didn't look quite right so I trimmed it then added it to a black mat.

Swivel Heart

Hello and welcome.

Todays card is a Silhouette Cameo cut file, Heart Swivel Card. This was my first attempt so it's not the best but I think it will do. The split heart or wings were run through a Cuttlebug Hearts ef, sentiment was printed on the computer, inside hearts are a small hand punch, brad holding it together is from my stash.
