Happy Turkey Day

Hello and welcome. Last week of October already??? Unbelievable.

Todays card is for our granddaughter and her family. Background was run through the Woodgrain ef by The Paper Studio; turkey and sentiment are from the Silhouette. I thought the kids would like the googly eyes. Once I got the sizing right it all came together pretty quick.

Gobble, Gobble

Hello and welcome. I hope everything is going well for you.

Todays card came about because I wanted to use some of the plaid paper I recently purchased from SU, and also, since my eyesight has improved I wanted to color a stamped image. Turkey image is from an online coloring page colored with Copic's, cut with Stitched Circle dies from Die-namics. The Calypso Coral cs was run through the stripes ef from The Paper Studio; small corner leaves are a small punch and covered with Clear Wink Of Stella. Edges of the brown strip and sentiment "labels" were cut with an antique paper cutter that had been used for cutting photos when developed. Sentiment is an old rubber stamp. Circle and labels were edged with a sponge dauber and stamp pad then popped up. In real life the edging on the circle does match the cs.

Rocking Thanksgiving

Hello and welcome. How nice of you to stop by.

Todays card is for our granddaughter and her boyfriend. I knew she'd like this rocker card that is from the Silhouette. Background paper and turkey silhouette were found online, sentiment was printed on the computer. I first printed the background on white photo paper but didn't like the stark white background so I then printed it on Very Vanilla cs and that softened up the look. The most difficult part for me was getting the sentiment placed right.

Thanks Be For Thee

Hello and welcome. Someone needs to tell our weatherman it's fall and time for cooler temps.

Todays card is for our 20 year old grandson. I wanted to use these Pilgrim and turkey silhouette cut files from the Silhouette. Luckily, I found this perfect, embossed piece of background paper in my stash. Sentiment was printed on the computer then punched with the Modern Label punch.  Images and sentiment are popped with Dimensionals. Labels and background paper are edged with Chocolate Chip stamp pad.

Thanksgiving Swirl

Hello and welcome. I hope everything is going well for you.

Here's another slim line Thanksgiving card. I wanted to use a pp but didn't have one on hand that I liked. What did I do then??? went to Google. Sentiment was double cut on the Silhouette, swirl is Fancy Swirl by Di-namics. It doesn't show in the photo but I used Clear Wink Of Stella on the flourish. I can't decide if I really like it or not.
